Forrest Bothwell is a Belfast based Irish actor who trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland before leaving to pursue professional opportunities. He is also a current member of the National Youth Theatre.

Forrest is currently appearing in the highly anticipated second season of ‘World On Fire’ as George on BBC One. All Episodes are also available on BBC iPlayer.

He also appears in ‘Mothering Sunday’ as Samuel, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2021, alongside Olivia Coleman, Colin Firth, Josh O’Connor and Emma Darcy. Currently available on Netflix.

Forrest has also played leading roles in numerous short films.

Forrest made his professional stage debut in Bright Umbrella’s ‘One Saturday Before the War’ at the Sanctuary Theatre. The play, which had a sold out run, was covered by BBC Radio Ulster, The Belfast Telegraph and The Irish News.

He has wrapped on 3 major projects yet to be released. These include the feature film ‘Sunrise’, a Neo Western Thriller set in the Pacific Northwest starring Guy Pearce, Alex Pettyfer and Will Gao. A Guy Ritchie Netflix Series ‘The Gentlemen’ and a ‘Untitled Limited Series’ for Disney+
