After recently completing her training at Bath School of Music and Performing Arts, Maria moved back home to Belfast in order to pursue a professional acting career.
Maria grew up with a passion for all things performance based. She has portrayed several lead roles in many amateur productions from the ages of seven up until she left to further her knowledge of acting at university, aged nineteen. Whilst undergoing her training, Maria had the advantage of learning the techniques of practitioners such as Meisner, Stanislavski and Lecoq as well as specialising in the ‘Acting for Camera’ module.
As well as acting, Maria can also play acoustic guitar and has received a certificate from The London College of Music for achieving Grade 5 in Classical Singing.
Maria was recently part of Belfast’s Crumlin Road Goal tour and can be seen throughout the prison tour playing the part of several ex-convicts.
