Rachel has been acting professionally from 1995, and has had the pleasure of working with top theatre companies and theatres in Ireland, including but not limited to, Prime Cut Productions, Tinderbox Theatre Company, Kabosh, Ulster Theatre Company, The Belfast Ensemble, Three’s Theatre Company, Bruiser Theatre Company, C21, The Lyric Theatre and The MAC.
She has toured all over the UK and Ireland with many of these companies and also had her first writing commission with Three’s Theatre Company where she wrote and performed in A Simple Journey for the East Side Arts Festival.
Rachel has had numerous contracts with B.B.C, UTV and RTE appearing on primetime television, including BBC1’s new hit TV series, Blues Lights, where you can catch her on the Iplayer, along with “Flatmates”and The Break’s most watched episode, “Binbagged” for BBC3.
Rachel is very involved with the local Independent Film Industry and has starred in countless short films over the years including many award-winning Shorts and gained Best Performance at the International Diversity Film Festival in Los Angeles for her portrayal of Brenda Miller in “Upside”, received a Best Supporting Actress award for Sarah in “Waves Over Sand” and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress as Marion in “A Bitter Pill” at the SOFIE Awards NYC.
